Keep Praying

A lot has happened since the last time we have blogged. We have officially booked our flight to Rwanda. After many months of dealing with travel agents and different dates...we finally booked a Christmas day flight. It will be so exciting to travel the country during the holidays.

We want to thank everyone who supported us in preparing for the trip. God has provided in so many ways since the beginning of this. It is awesome to see how doors open when you put all your faith in Him. He is in control and it is so comforting to know that.

We will be working with 40 boys and girls in Rwanda. We will be putting on this camp for two weeks Tuesday-Friday. Our days will be packed with bible lessons, soccer training, leadership training, crafts, games, and lots and lots of fun!! We will also be doing prayer walking on the weekends. In addition to this we will also be trying to help out the missionaries there in anyway we can.

Please continue to pray for us as we prepare for the trip. Pray that we are a blessing to the missionaries in Rwanda, that our bags travel with us (and not go to the wrong place.), that He will protect us from any sort of illness, and that we love on every person that we come in contact with. Help us learn from these children just as much as they learn from us.

We know this will truly be a life changing experience and we cannot wait to see how God works in our lives through this awesome opportunity.

Love you all!

What does the Spirit do? His works are ineffable in majesty, and innumerable in quantity. How can we even ponder what extends beyond the ages? What did He do before creation began? How great are the graces He showered on creation? What power will He wield in the age to come? He existed; He pre-existed; He co-existed with the Father and the Son before the ages. Even if you can imagine anything beyond the ages, you will discover that the Spirit is even further beyond.

These past few weeks have been a blessing, Jenna and I have been spending time daily with the Creator in order to prepare our hearts for the people of Rwanda. This Saturday, our mission team from the church will be having a car wash at Arlington Orthopedic Associates from 9:30 am - 1:00 pm. So if you will be in the area or know someone who will...look for us on Cooper St. and please stop by to get your car washed!!

Also, if you would like to order a 'Hope for Rwanda' T-shirt to help support our mission trip, just find Jenna or myself on Facebook and let us know!! Have a great Wednesday and continue to pray for the hearts in Rwanda and for our mission team as we plan and prepare to serve the Kingdom of God.

Rwanda Mission Trip

We are traveling to Kigali, Africa for 2 weeks in December - January. We have a team of 17 people from The Hills Church to "carry the HOPE of Christ" to the people of Rwanda. We are super excited about this opportunity to serve the people of Africa. For 2 weeks we will be putting on a Sports Camp for the children in the surrounding areas of Kigali. This is a great opportunity to build relationships and love on the Rwanda people.

In order to go on this trip we are needing to raise a total of $5,000. We are trusting God to provide the funds for us to go on this mission trip. He is the ultimate provider, and we know that He will keep providing.

One way that you can help support us is by purchasing a "Hope for Rwanda" t-shirt. (See image below) Not only does this help us financially, but when other people see you wearing the shirt you have the opportunity to spread the message of HOPE for Rwanda. The shirts are $16 and the sizes are: Small - XX Large with t-shirt colors of: Black or White. If you or anyone you know would like to buy one please e-mail us at: jenna.snider@mavs.uta.edu or ccampbell@arlingtonortho.com. Or find us on Facebook and send us a message on there. Please help us spread the word about these t-shirts and our fundraising efforts.

As soon as you read this blog, please stop and pray for us and our team that we will be traveling with to Rwanda. The greatest gift you can do for us is to pray, and to please pray daily for us. We will be updating this blog regularly with our current prayer needs as we prepare for this trip and hopefully we will keep it updated while we are in Rwanda. Pray that God will open up the doors for us and eliminate all obstacles that satan tries to put in our way. Also, please pray for safe travel and the Kingdom of God to be glorified.

Also, if you feel led to make a donation in order to help us raise the necessary funds, we would be very grateful. You can safely make a donation online through our PayPal account found here on our blog.
